Merit Software Windows 9x/NT/2000/XP programs are different from
the online lessons in several ways:

The online exercises show a very small sample of the data and
concepts covered in the Merit Software Windows 9x/NT/2000/XP programs.
Each program is designed to give comprehensive instruction and
practice in its basic skill area.

Merit Software Windows 9x/NT/2000/XP programs have pretests and post
tests. They offer a variety of approaches to the material, for
example, concentration on a single concept or mixed practice play.

Students can view and print their progress reports.

All Merit Software Windows 9x/NT/2000/XP programs utilize a centralized
student record keeping and management system utility program called
the Teacher Program Manager (TPM). The TPM gives you access to
all student inputs.

Why am I having problems using this site with an AOL browser?
AOL
users may get error messages if they try to use this site within
the default AOL browser. The best solution is to minimize
AOL and use a free browser, such as Firefox, Opera or Microsoft
Internet Explorer, to access this site.
To
do this, download and install a free browser from either Firefox, Opera
or Microsoft. Then logon on to AOL. When the AOL Main
Menu appears, hit the "minimize" button and type http://www.readingcomprehensionconnection.com/ into the Internet address window and press "enter."
